Vehicle Preparation or Hire
PPE recognizes that for adventurers not based in the UK or EU, joining an expedition can be a challenge. VSC/Co-drivers slots are always limited and hard to secure. But buying or shipping a vehicle from North America, Asia or elsewhere is hardly practical.
Vehicle Hire
In 2027 PPE plans to acquire 1-2 CAT1 vehicles fully prepared and equipped for expeditions that would be available for hire by selected overseas crews.
The vehicle would come with all gear except pers kit and sleeping bags. The package would be ‘all-in’ and include ferries, permits, and other logistics costs. Fuel, fluids, meals and some accommodations would not be included.
Terms and conditions, deposits and other details would be discussed and price calculated based on expedition destination and duration.
Vehicle Preparation
PPE will also consider purchasing and preparing a CAT1 expedition vehicle on behalf of a client. These would be done to CAT spec taking into account the clients needs. Vehicles could then be fully equipped with our standard gear package for tools, spares, camping gear, radios etc and ready for an expedition.
Post-trip, PPE might consider a ‘buy-back’ option for the vehicle. Alternatively, for a client who may wish to join future expeditions, we can organize secure dry storage between adventures in the UK.
